Always a fan of Bro Speed. Used to fill their bikes an 92nd & powell Texaco back in the day. Great bunch of guys
Happy New Year to Brother Speed. Basically I have a comment and a question or two.
Back in the late 70's I met the then VP, Bluto through my ex., "Lucky" who was acquainted with BS through a couple of members. Bluto and a couple other Brothers rode up to visit Luck when we lived in a school bus on a mountain in the coast range. Bluto was really cool. It's been my great pleasure to be a bikers Ol' Lady. Oh the fun we had. Lucky is now passed on and may the Old Gods rest his soul. That's my comment. I am writing a book. Here's my question or two. A major part of the book takes place in Portland, Ore.. It involves two fictional characters who are riding with a 1% bike club. I want to call the club "Iron Axe, MC." I have googled the name and can't find it used anywhere. 1: Have you ever heard of this moniker being used in any bike club?" 2: Do you think it's cool?
I went through a life changing surgery in Mcminnville, Oregon back in the summer of 2012. My nurse that took care of me is a member of your club. The dude was super respectful, helped me out with my PTSD by talking with me and was just an all around upstanding guy. Forgot his name, but never forgot his face. Take Care.
